This summer, join The Land Conservancy in a guided tour of the B.C. Binning Residence !
Come see a groundbreaking example of West Coast modern architecture designed personally by artist and architect B.C. Binning in West Vancouver. Designed in 1941, this national historic site was one of the first of its kind to set the stage for West Coast modern architecture, and eventually serve as a primary influence for Arthur Erickson. Following principles of early twentieth century modernism that influenced architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, in conjunction with the artistic style of the abstract expressionists, the residence is truly unique.
